HELP!! cloudy vision in left eye after wearing softlens 66 toric. TIA -- Posted by jen on 02-18-04 23:42

hi i'm having this cloudy vision problem in the left eye after my doc
fitted me into softlens 66 toric. i have to use rewetting drops to
keep it clear but it gets cloudy again. i went back to the doc and he
ordered preference toric since it has lower water content so it won't
dry out so fast. any other lens options? i used to wear conventional
lenses and it didn't have that problem. too bad the previous doc moved
so i have no way of knowing what i was wearing.....\

If your astigmatism is marginal enough to wear spherical lenses, you could
try the new Acuvue Advance(?) or the Extreme H2O lenses. Both of these are
designed for people like you. They just don't et as dry. Unfortunately,
they are not available in toric designs yet to my knowledge.
